Vacation

I realize I'm behind here, but it has been a crazy week around here (excuses, excuses!) After vacation my daddy had to go out of town for work for the week and we had a lot going on in addition. We did however have a fabulous trip to the Oregon Coast! We drove down on Sunday and stayed in a beautiful house in Seaside, which happens to be the town where mama was born. Grandma Bonnie, Papa Jim, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Julie, and Maggie all came too! What a great family vacation we had (we missed you Aunt Becky and Uncle Doug).

On the way down we stopped in Lakewood to see Great Grandpa at a nice place he was staying at to help him live with limited eyesight. So nice to see him!
Mama captured the first moment I put my feet in that warm, soft sand. Pure bliss!
Love this!!
What is more fun to a child?
Day 2- Fun on the beach. As you can see the weather was just perfect. I don't have pictures but my daddy and Uncle Kevin spent over an hour playing in the ocean!
Lily dug me a hole. I don't think that huge smile ever came off my face!
This was actually a picture from the day we arrived and just saw this miraculous thing called the ocean!
Being cheesy on the beach
Little boy footprints, mom thinks they are cute.
Being silly with my "issy!"
Whooo....Hoo...all rules, es, and expectations out the window ;)
Trying on silly hats at the Carousel mall
Waving to Grandma
Papa and I were having a conversation...deep conversation
Grandma, Papa, Mommy, and Daddy peddled Sissy and I around town in this cool bike. We loved it!! I wonder if they did?
Back to icecream...mmmmm
We went to the aquarium one morning and saw some really neat things! We even touched some interesting animals.
We liked the touch tanks and the starfish
Never too busy for some grandma snuggles and stories
Bubble bath with cousin Maggie. We had so much fun with her!
Daddy and I went on Bumper Cars....so fun! I loved it! Mama and sissy decided to watch, imagine that!Thursday we left the beach and headed for Vancouver. We went to my mama's Auntie Colleen's house for lunch and a nice summer walk. We saw our second cousins, had a wonderful dinner, and even saw my Auntie Joanie. This is at the hotel pool. What an experience, pool, big beds to jump on and sissy to giggle with all night long.
I finally decided to get in the pool, the screams didn't last long and I was blowing bubbles in no time
Fun with daddy
We could see trains from our room, so exciting...Choo Choo!!
