September Fun

It has been busy around here with my sister in school, mama back to work a little, and my daddy even went on a week long business trip.  Nicholas is now 5 months old and I'm enjoying some boy time during the day with him.  I also really like my time with Grandma since Lily stays at school with mama.  I still miss her though!
Daddy picked her up on their bike.  She really liked that adventure!

And they're off!

Playing games at the Harvest Festival at our church.  What a fun day!

Nice weather for another year, what luck!  Can't go without ice cream at a festival!

Nicholas was a trooper hanging out in the stroller and tried to stay out of the sun.

Leaving with a little treat ;)

Apples from the tree

I had to cool off, this weather is just amazing

Lily was giving her bunny a bath, soap and all.  Silly girl!

We found this in Grandma's attic area...aka our storage.  I use to enjoy this and now Nicholas spends some time in it.

Spending some time with sissy

Nick is trying to work up those neck muscles

Lily and I gathered a few piles of leaves and threw them in the trampoline so we could jump in them.  I think it was her idea so we wouldn't hurt ourselves on the ground jumping in our pile.

Preschool

This week my mama and I started a preschool program at home.  I love it and am as my mama says, "I'm the perfect little student!"  Every week we focus on a letter of the alphabet.  We do art projects, read stories, learn poems, bible verses, and learn about saints that start with that letter.  I think I enjoy the stories the best, but it is all fun.  Naturally, the first letter was A this week.  I learned about Saint Anne -Jesus' Grandma, Saint Andrew -the fisherman, and Saint Anthony)  Here are a few more things that I did this week:
Proud of my A's

Play-doh, always fun!

But a bit challenging

Another day of A's.  Sometimes I make H's on accident.

Our program

My Ant

Matching upper and lower case letters.  I enjoy puzzles too!

I'm looking forward to the letter B next week!

End of Summer

We have been soaking up every last ounce of summer.  Since our return from Spokane we have had a garage sale, went crabbing on the boat, went on several walks, a birthday party, and so much more!  These pictures are from my mama's cell phone so there are many random shots here.
Lily had a lemonade stand at the garage sale and sold rice krispy treats too!  She was very serious for the first little bit and made me sit in this chair ;)  (She bought a lady bug habitat with her earnings!)

Nicholas enjoys being outside

Family movie night.  This time it was Charlotte's Web!  We enjoyed it!

Oh, and I forgot to mention a trip or two to the library of course

Taking a rest at the beach by our house

Little Nick

Sissy exploring the rocks

Another movie night shot

Lily had a special date with mommy and got her hair cut

And lunch (I had a date last week too with mama.  Smoothie fun!)

Grandma is the best story teller!  Here we are soaking up one last story before we go home on Sunday.

Nicholas is loving the stroller lately

Sissy is protecting Nick from me.  We jumped in his crib to give him morning kisses as he woke up.

Here they are enjoying morning snuggles

One morning last week we went down to the beach and the tide was way out!  We had so much fun exploring and walked farther than we have ever walked!
