Christmas

I had such a fun Christmas and hope each of you did as well. We really lived up the Advent season in our house and I had fun celebrating Jesus' birthday on Christmas. Singing carols has been one of my favorite parts including my two favorites, Frosty the Snowman and Hark! the Herald Angels Sing. I wonder how long we will be singing them in our house?

Movie night was the Polar Express! I enjoyed it but popcorn was definitely the highlight!
The fabulous cookie party we were invited to. I talked about it for two weeks prior! This is Peter and I enjoying the taste of the cookies.
More sweets! I learned not to eat my masterpieces though. I worked so hard on these two gingerbread men for the house and didn't eat a bite! (I learned my lesson after the cookie party when I got very upset after biting my shapes and they no longer looked like trees and stockings.)
Putting out our milk and cookies for Santa!
Christmas morning. Santa brought me my own little recliner! It is just perfect, he must know me well?
I'm trying to show my sissy how to smile, it is Christmas after all?
Santa fit this train whistle in my stocking. Too bad I have a cold and asthma right now so I can't make it toot.
More stocking treasures!
My fun new car mat, vroom!
Thanks Auntie Becky and Uncle Doug! This is great!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Warm Beach and Grandparents

Over the weekend Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jim came over to deliver presents and spend some quality time with us before Christmas. They also celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday! Congratulations to you both, wow! We had such a nice visit!
While they were here we went to Warm Beach Camp to look at all the beautiful lights and enjoy the festivities there. This was the first year we went down and had so much fun (other than it being very, very crowded!!) The lights were so impressive but my favorite part by far was the cotton candy. When we got in the car to leave I told my parents that we needed lights for the whole house and we should buy them at a garage sale.

Grandma and Papa came early on Friday so they were able to watch sissy at gymnastics. Dada and I hung out on the side lines and I tried out a few pieces of equipment.
Petting the sheep at the light festival
This was one of our favorite displays, it is so hard to take pictures of the beautiful lights
Waiting in line for the train. Lines, lines, and more lines!!
I was able to ride a horse there! Usually I'm too small so this was a big treat!
Enjoying some cotton candy with my cousin. Yummy! (This was before my mom took a bite and my world turned upside down!)
I think the snowman wanted a bite too!
I ate the whole entire thing by myself -minus that one little bite!
My favorite thing to do right now is put this puzzle together. I do it by myself at least 3 times a day!
Playing house with cousin Maggie. She was the baby and I was Jim (of course!)

Advent Fetivities

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! We had such a fun weekend getting our tree, decorating, and spending time together as a family. On Saturday we went to the tree farm and cut down the perfect tree! It was chilly but we haven't had any snow here yet. On Sunday after church we went to the Port Festival and I got to ride in a "Whoo Whoo!" (AKA- Fire Truck) We sat in the back so I got to talk to the firefighter and he even let me put on his helmet! Do you know how heavy those things are? We had no idea! I also got to see Santa again, I sure like that guy. I even tried to get in someone else's picture. I just wanted to see him so bad.
Today is the feast of Saint Nicholas so we left our shoes by the fireplace and he filled them with coins, candy, a book, and even a new Christmas Boz Movie!! Happy Saint Nicholas Day everyone!

Playing with our Nativity
We named this snowman Franklin. We knew he wasn't Frosty because he has a carrot nose (not a button nose)
After Dada cut the tree down we walked back up to get the truck and rode in the back while mama drove. Don't worry, we held on tight!
Sissy and I sure like to be silly these days
Don't ask me what she is doing, but I sure loved to "help" put on the ornaments this year
This is my train ornament, my all time favorite! I frequently carry the step stool out of the bathroom to the tree so I can see this ornament better. It game from Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jim last year.
Me with Mr. Firefighter. It was bright and I was trying to stay on the seat.
How do I look? I definitely couldn't hold this helmet on with my 2 year old neck.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, a day early! As you probably read in my sissy's blog, we decided to cancel our trip to Spokane this holiday week. We will miss everyone over there but wanted to be safe with all this winter weather we have had lately. We have had a quiet week and have enjoyed down time at home with daddy. Have a great turkey day everyone!

Having a tea party with Grandma

Sissy and I and our pet froggies
Happy as can be and I was so gentle!!

Saying prayers

Concentrating hard. Momma and I were making handprint turkeys and I insisted on having blue. I painted a picture with blue paint then did turkeys! I was very proud of my artwork!!

It isn't every day that Momma braves paint with me!

Happy Halloween

My grandma and papa went on a trip to Arizona last week so Sissy and I got to go to school (her work) with mama. On Halloween we dressed up and even got to decorate cookies with the big kids! Yummy! Later on we met up with cousin Maggie at a fun church event followed by a few neighbor visits. I really loved trick or treating this year.

Me with cousin Maggie. She was princess Belle, a beautiful princess indeed!

Happy Fireman with his blankie

I got to meet a real fire fighter and see his cool truck!

I came home, plopped down right inside the door and had to try one of my candies

Getting cold around here! It was only 26 degrees this morning so I had several layers on to stay warm as we headed to church this morning.

Having a tea party with Grandma and Sissy. We love Sundays!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Everywhere!

Fall is a fun time of year! I like pumpkins, see them everywhere, but discovered this week that I do not like what I found inside the pumpkins on our carving night. Yuck!

Happy Fall
Are you sure about this sissy?
I will never have too many train rides
Nice hat Mr. Pumpkin
Downtown trick-or-treating
I absolutely loved it! One of the best parts was seeing real fire fighters drive by in their truck and wave to me!
Happy Halloween!
