Maggie's Birthday Weekend

My cousin turned 3 this weekend, so we got to spend time with Grandma, Papa and Aunt Becky who came over from Spokane to celebrate. They got here on Thursday, so it was a nice long weekend with them. I got to go fishing with Papa and Uncle Kev on Friday, unfortunately Dada had to work. Saturday was the big party and it was a ton of fun, which explains why I exclaimed "this is fun party" a few dozen times.

The battle to be King of the Urban Jungle

Here Fishy, Fishy.... what, it worked with the cat
Uncle Kev knows just how to catch the big ones
Takin a break from fishing for some "CHEESE"

Sissy and I seeing who can land dinner... we had burgers

Why do I feel like I'm going to regret this in 13 years?

The kids' table.... I'm sure I'll be here until the previous picture becomes embarassing

Not sure I trust Aunt Becky's driving at the Walk for Life... and Lily was hogging the airbag

The Birthday Girl!

This is fun party

Ok sis, I'm going for it... what color cupcake do you want?

Is Dada eyeballing my cupcake?

TRAIN!!!!

For Mother's Day we went with my Auntie, her boyfriend, Grandma, and Papa to a baseball game in Seattle! We took the train with Grandma and Papa...... I was in heaven! A few of the smiles were captured on the pictures but I really didn't stop smiling for most of the day. It was a long day with no nap, but I hung in there remarkably well and still thoroughly enjoyed the train ride back. The Mariners ended up losing the game and my dada saved us from a foul ball. I guess you would say his thumb saved us, but we were on TV! My Aunt Debbie called to tell us that she saw us, that is pretty neat! We had a busy yet fun weekend and the excitement doesn't stop. My Grandma and Papa are coming over from Spokane this weekend to celebrate my cousin Maggie's 3rd birthday! I can't believe it!

So excited!

At the end of the ride back to Everett, I said, "Happy Mother's Day Mama!" and I think I melted the hearts of everyone on the train
Pure excitement!

Having fun with sissy

This was the funniest thing....cotton candy! Can you believe that stuff?

I laughed so hard!! Good thing I had a diaper on

Tickled my tongue

Spring Week in Spokane

Technically it is Spring but I did see snow on several occasions in Spokane last week, crazy weather. We left on Easter morning (Mommy and Daddy went to Easter Vigil) and enjoyed a week in Spokane with our family. We got to see my dad's cousin before he leaves for Afghanistan and also my dad ran Bloomsday. During our visit we had some fun outings and as always, it was great to see everyone!

The Easter Bunny stopped by our house before we left!

Excited about the chocolate cross
I went to a special kid place in Spokane to get my haircut. Loved the toys but think I will stick with my personal barber at home!

Downtown Spokane has a really fun museum called Mobius. My sissy and I sure had fun there, and could have stayed all day!

Riding the "car" along the "street"

This was fun too, I think I'm going to like science when I get old enough for school.

The big slide at Riverfront Park. As you can see by looking at mama, this is a very big one! I did it all by myself!!!

Waiting for the carousel.

Riding with Papa. I also got to ride once all by myself and choose a goat to ride on instead of the horse. After riding I looked at the goat and said, "Nice ride goat!"

Monkey

The place we ate at for lunch that day served popcorn with the sandwiches. I was in heaven!!!

We took a ride out to Eastern, where my parents met and both went to college. As you may know, they are the National Football Champions so I had to check out the new red field. Isn't it cool?

They are doing all kinds of construction, which I love to see, especially the cranes!

On the ride home we stopped at a fruit stand and I enjoyed a pear in the car. Yummy fruit!
Cheersing sissy with our icecream cones in Leavenworth. Wow, it was a beautiful day!

Easter Egg Hunt

We love to have our own Easter Egg Hunts with our friends in our backyard. This year however we had a very hard time planning. The weather has been crazy (as it has everywhere). Lots of rain does not make for a very fun hunt. So we ended up having some friends over one afternoon last week, during a break in the rain, and we had a lot of fun. We even enjoyed some Easter cupcakes together! I sure am lucky to have such great friends.

Elijah and I thinking about eating all that candy Yummy!
This zebra egg ended up having a toy camel in it, which was my favorite of all! (I think the Easter bunny got confused with the animals and eggs)

I was more interested in this yellow flower for the first half of the hunt, silly!
Time to see what is in here.

Big Boy

I turned 2 a few weeks back and it seems like I am just growing up too fast lately, says my mama. I'm talking up a storm, being a boy AND 2! I had a great week last week with my mom home all week for spring break. We had fun playing outside at every chance we got, I even was found in the backyard with my rain coat and boots I love the outdoors so much. I have been battling cold after cold and the last few have been worse on my asthma, however I can hold my mask by myself now and my favorite thing to do is watch "bears"...AKA Bernstein Bears.

Sunshine??? Definetely need these shades, it has been soo long! Jump Zone for a birthday party. I wanted so bad to be a big boy and follow my sister but this is as far as I got. Trampled and scared, I decided to stick with the small toddler section this time.
I did enjoy the cake though....fun party!
Our friends came over to dye Easter Eggs and I enjoyed playing with Therese much more, especially after the excitement of the eggs and water wore off. I love that baby! I even got to hold her today, although I'm pretty sure she weighs as much as me ;)
Waiting for the eggs....so patient

Love the tongue? It helps with concentration and egg dying.

Train Museum

There aren't too many good pictures because I was way to busy playing and being in complete awe of the most amazing place I have been. I think the video camera would have been more ideal ;) Anyway, I loved this place and have been asking to go back every day since!

This big Thomas was a little tricky to ride but I loved it none the less

Train tracks galore! Sissy and I playing together Too bad they have crazy hours and are only open some afternoons. I will have to make it back soon though.
