May Smiles!

Lots of things have been happening here and I am growing up! We had a nice visit from Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jim last weekend. It was great! We went to the beach, had a lunch date and birthday party, and I got some special treats! My cousin Maggie is 2 now and we sure have fun together. Sister is teaching me new things every day and life is great! My new words are "off" (which also means shoes because I want them off), "up", "banana", and the best one is "Lily"! (Everyone loves when I say her name for some reason).

I love to eat.....what can I say? I'm a boy! Oh, and spaghetti is one of my favorites as you can see!

Wow, what a fabulous weekend! We finally got some decent weather, I got bounced around by Lily in our new bounce house, I got to see my Aunt Debbie and Uncle Bob, made my first trip to the Farmer's Market and discovered how much more fun the beach is when you can walk. Oh, and we got to celebrate how awesome my Mom is - she really is the best.

Late 13 Month Post

Hello friends! I am going on 14 months and growing strong. I love, love, love being outside and the weather has been allowing me to do more of this. I am either found playing with the screen door, or screaming at the door to get out! I am content sitting on the deck or playing in the rocks and I like to watch my sister play too. My new words are rock, sock, and my favorite... ball. I think everything is a ball too ;) I have recently started to enjoy books and can sit for longer periods of time to listen. I have to have a book before nap time or I point to the books and say..."Ooook!" Maybe my sister has something to do with this??

I LOVE Tulips!!

We had such a fun spring weekend. First, we went to the tulip festival and I LOVED the flowers. My momma and dada got a kick out of the way I "smelled" the tulips and couldn't get enough of them. I touched them ever so gently but at the same time I sure wanted to take some home! On Sunday we went to the City Park in Lynden which is sure a lot of fun. We had a picnic then headed out to Grandma Katie's house for some more outdoor fun. It was so warm and I love not wearing my coat.

Easter Sunday and More!

Happy Easter everyone! What a special and fun holiday! Did you know that Easter actually lasts 50 days? What a celebration! The only bad thing about the day was that I got sick....AGAIN! I am really tired of Mr. Fishy (my nebulizer) and all these viruses. On lighter news, I have taken a few steps and can stand on my own a little longer. My new favorite word is milk and I love to jibber jabber all day long. Dad says it is my own little language. I am sleeping like a big boy and mom is much happier with a full night of sleep.

Eggs and More!

Easter Sunday is tomorrow and I hear it is a very fun, holy day! I have seen eggs, candy, yummy food and friends...looks good so far! Tomorrow we will go to Mass, have more yummy food for breakfast here and more yummy food for lunch at Grandma's house! Can you tell I love food?
Today we had an Easter Egg hunt in the back yard and I sure wish I could walk...Ok, RUN! I had to be outside with the big kids and all I got to do was look at the empty eggs. Guess, it is a symbol...just like the empty tomb we are celebrating tomorrow! Anyway, here are a few pictures of me and the excitement around here. I am into making silly faces as you will see. Remember when my sister went through that stage?
