Happy 4th Birthday!

On Wednesday, March 13th I celebrated my big 4th birthday.  My grandma Bonnie drove over from Spokane to be here and celebrate with us which was so nice.  Another treat, my Papa Bob was able to be here!  On my actual birthday we went to Red Robin and it was fun being sung to.  On Saturday we had a nice dinner and family celebration.  I asked for dinosaur cupcakes again, just like last year.
My mommy and daddy can't believe I'm four already and wonder where the time has gone.  I am a sweet, easy going boy or so they say.  I love dinosaurs, cars, trains, all the typical boy stuff but my favorite thing is my sissy.  She is my best friend and I love her to the moon and back!  I'm excited for the coming year and all the fun that is in store!
This is one of my "houses" where we play.  It may look messy but it is all perfectly placed in my mind.

Coming out on my birthday to see all the neat balloons.

Sissy let me open her present before she went off to school.

And then she helped me open a few later that night.

Can you tell this is what I wanted?
I love this....sissy one a prize at school of some licorice and she wrapped a few pieces up along with a book she made me.  She loves me!
This one is out of order, sorry.  My mommy loved that smile.

Look at that face!!

Wink wink!
Happy 4 year old!

Big Brother

I have really warmed up to the idea of  being a big brother.  I have been so good to Nick lately and really watching out for him.  One thing I do is make sure if he has something of mine I always trade him for another toy, which is fine with him as of now.  I also make sure he doesn't have anything that is a choking hazard.
This week I also had my last gymnastics class.  I had fun and learned how to follow more than more direction, which is more challenging to a 3 year old than you think!  Thank you Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jim for a great Christmas Present!  My parents registered me for Preschool next year and I get to go on Monday to meet my teachers and have a little time for activities with them.  I'm very ready for school, especially after Lily got to go this year.  I can't wait to play with the other kids!!

These are a few Lent things we do every year.  We always add a few more but love our Catholic Faith and the chances it gives us to grow closer to Jesus through the liturgical year.

Happy St. Valentine's Day!

I had a great day!  It started when we all went out to the living room together and saw a small Valentine's Day Treat, along with a balloon!  I made yummy sugar cookies and frosted them with sprinkles to share with my friends at Mom's Group.  We went to the group and I got to play with my friends.  I sure like it there!  We picked up Lily from school and she showed us her Valentines and even shared some of her candy with me!  We played the rest of the night and read a great book about the saint, Saint Valentine.  Hope you had a good one!
Lily and I making Valentines.  She was busy making ones for her classmates and I made some for my friends at Mom's Group.

Lily ready for school.  She had free dress for the celebration and she was ready for her party!

Decorating my cookies

I brought in a bowl and some rice krispies to Nick's room and shared with him, he was soo excited!

Snow!

No, we don't have any unfortunetly.  We have seen a few snowflakes but nothing to play in ...so, over Christmas Break I made a snowman and we took a family trip up to Mount Baker to see real snow!  We dropped Nick off to spend a day with Grandma and we headed up the mountain.  Lily and Daddy went skiing upon our arrival while Mama and I spent some time together in the lodge.  I tried out the skiis for a minute but was not a fan.  Maybe someday?  We are enjoying this beautiful, chilly weather but would really love a few days of snow to play in, we shall see!
I collected the sticks, rocks and birdie berries on our way to the mailbox.  I told mama I should make a snowman, so...we did!  I made his hat like that on purpose, just like Frosties!

So happy to see snow!

Ready for a run daddy!

What a fun day!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you all!  I had a fabulous day and whole Advent Season.  We just love this time of year!  I think I was good this year because Santa brought me a neat fire station.  It is like a doll house for boys!  Every time I opened a present or took something from my stocking this year I said, "Just what I wanted!"  I hope you all had a blessed Christmas as well!  Check my brother's blog, as well as Lily's!
Check out this ornament!  I can't believe my Grandma Bonnie found a dinosaur ornament, we were all so excited about this!

Playing with my Santa gift.  It has a real fire poll!

Lily and I decorated a gingerbread house.  Unfortunately, it collapsed after we were done, but it was fun while we did it.

Concentration!

A snowman I painted.  On our trip to the mailbox the other day I collected the sticks and told mama we should make a snowman and I used the items I collected to decorate him.  I put his hat like that on purpose, just like Frosty!

We went up to Mount Baker yesterday.  We dropped Nicholas off to spend the day with Grandma and we headed up to play in the snow.  Lily and dada did a little skiing while I hung out and ate in the lodge with Mama.  Then we went sledding together.  I can't wait until it snows at home!

Ready for the skis

I had to try them on but I told everyone that I was scared!!

Such a beautiful day and wow, we like in an amazing place!
