Stoney Ridge 2012

What a fun day!  We met Aunt Julie and cousin Maggie out at Stoney Ridge today.  Unfortunately, Uncle Kevin had to work today.  It was chilly but the rain held off, which was nice.  We did the usual attractions, apple cider donuts being one of my favorites today.  Watch out, picture overload as usual.

We really did get lost in the corn maze and spent quite a bit of time in there.  Somehow Maggie found her way out before we did!  It was unusually dry in there this year with the nice fall we have had.

Boys!

Nicholas and I have been bonding at home the last few weeks.  We play and I have enjoyed his new toys.  He is getting a little more fun.  We enjoy weekly trips to the library and Nicholas is starting to really like story time, which is fun.
I'm pretty small but what is the weight limit on this thing?

Mama and I built an awesome fort in my room.  I even slept in it!

Painting with my cars and tractors, this was fun!

Vroom!  Some of my favorite things combined!

Picking out pumpkins for mama's school.  I think we will go to Stoney Ridge this weekend with cousin Maggie!

C Week with Some Fall Fun!

I think my mama got confused this week when she started doing some fall activities because fall does not start with c! None the less, we had a fun week.  I'm excited for next week too because one of my favorite things starts with D, can you guess?
Practicing my numbers (did this all the way to 10 by myself!)

My "Caterpillar" and I'm practicing my name.  We are practicing pencil grip with my teacher too!

Candy Corn, two c words!

I am NOT going to take my books back to the library!

September Fun

It has been busy around here with my sister in school, mama back to work a little, and my daddy even went on a week long business trip.  Nicholas is now 5 months old and I'm enjoying some boy time during the day with him.  I also really like my time with Grandma since Lily stays at school with mama.  I still miss her though!
Daddy picked her up on their bike.  She really liked that adventure!

And they're off!

Playing games at the Harvest Festival at our church.  What a fun day!

Nice weather for another year, what luck!  Can't go without ice cream at a festival!

Nicholas was a trooper hanging out in the stroller and tried to stay out of the sun.

Leaving with a little treat ;)

Apples from the tree

I had to cool off, this weather is just amazing

Lily was giving her bunny a bath, soap and all.  Silly girl!

We found this in Grandma's attic area...aka our storage.  I use to enjoy this and now Nicholas spends some time in it.

Spending some time with sissy

Nick is trying to work up those neck muscles

Lily and I gathered a few piles of leaves and threw them in the trampoline so we could jump in them.  I think it was her idea so we wouldn't hurt ourselves on the ground jumping in our pile.

Preschool

This week my mama and I started a preschool program at home.  I love it and am as my mama says, "I'm the perfect little student!"  Every week we focus on a letter of the alphabet.  We do art projects, read stories, learn poems, bible verses, and learn about saints that start with that letter.  I think I enjoy the stories the best, but it is all fun.  Naturally, the first letter was A this week.  I learned about Saint Anne -Jesus' Grandma, Saint Andrew -the fisherman, and Saint Anthony)  Here are a few more things that I did this week:
Proud of my A's

Play-doh, always fun!

But a bit challenging

Another day of A's.  Sometimes I make H's on accident.

Our program

My Ant

Matching upper and lower case letters.  I enjoy puzzles too!

I'm looking forward to the letter B next week!
