Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, especially my daddy and two papas.  Daddy you are the best dad we could ask for.  You work hard for us, play with us, take us on special adventures, and are devoted to leading your family as God has shown you.  Thank you for all you do for us!!

On this Father's Day we spent the day at Safeco Field watching the Mariner's with Grandma and Papa Jim.  We rode the train down and enjoyed a fun adventure.  We are so sorry that cousin Maggie could not come.  Her Grammie is not doing well, so please offer a prayer for her when you have a chance.
Waiting for the train

Happy Father's Day daddy!  We had so much fun celebrating with you!

Yummy!

Playdates and Papa

Every two weeks we get together with a two wonderful families who have kids our age.  We play, have lunch, and sometimes even do a fun project together.  We enjoy this time so much, especially after a little break to welcome our baby and one other little baby born just dates after Nicholas.  In other news, my papa is home again for a few days so we enjoyed our Sunday afternoon at his house this week.  We pulled up and I was very excited to see him, exclaiming, "Papa is here, I LOVE him!"

Sissy and our friend Estela holding their new siblings!  What proud big sisters!

A great picture of our friends -Mrs. Jones and her kiddos

Papa playing with a fun Mr. Potato Head with us.  It grows play doh hair and we can cut it!

Sissy loves to wake up and see Nicholas.  He even got in her bed to snuggle with her this morning.

June?

My daddy calls this June-uary!  The weather has been more like April around here and we have been trying to keep busy inside.  I am now fully recovered from a strange virus that lasted a good 4 days, strange because we have been home bodies lately.  We were also lucky that I was the only one that got sick.  In other news, Nicholas is growing and I'm his biggest fan.  I wake up and ask for him and if he is ever napping in his bed I always go check on him and need to know where he is at all times.  We have been doing a little bit of school lately and I enjoy all the lessons and think I'm ready for Kindergarten with my sissy.  She goes for her assessment tomorrow and is very excited to have time with her new teacher.

When I was sick Lily made me several little decorations which said Get Well and placed them by my bed.  So sweet!
Lily made these crazy glasses, traced them, decorated them, and got the string to tie them.  All her idea, silly girl!
Playing dress up....Fairies are her FAVORITE!
Sissy and I both love it when Nicholas is awake.  We love to hold him and he had a great conversation with Lily yesterday.

Nicholas spent the day sleeping today, he must be growing!  He also is starting to enjoy his swing, in which we are very thankful!
Lily just learned how to play on the computer.  PBS kids is awesome!
I had fun with playdoh while she played on the computer
We are ready to play outside again.

Our Family of 5 -Week 3

Everyone always says that they think my sissy is such a good helper, but I am also a great help around the house with my new baby brother.  I love to help get things for my mom and I am very good at picking up toys.  I also really love my brother and check on him often throughout the day.  We went out a few times last week with mama and the three kids.  One of the things we did was go to a dinosaur production at the Mount Baker Theater.  My sissy and I absolutely loved it and laughed harder than we have in a long time.  This weekend my Grandparents and Aunt Becky and Uncle Doug are coming from Spokane.  Cousin Maggie is turning 4 and my brother is also getting baptized.  Whew what an exciting weekend we are going to have.

Waiting for the show to begin!  So excited!
Lily was nervous about the show because she thought that it was going to be loud and scary, but we ended up laughing our heads off!!
Lily, the frog catcher!!  She is a professional now, catching so many each visit to Grandma and Papa's house.

May!

Happy May!  I'm enjoying being a big brother and had a fun week with lots of visits from friends and family.  I have given my room completely over to my brother Nicholas and have even been taking naps in my bunk.  Just wanted to share some pictures of my adventures over the past couple weeks...

I'm proud of this castle that daddy helped me build!
So excited to do a little mowing with Grandma.  Maybe she can help me get this steering down so I can drive my tractor?
Taking a little breather during drop in Soccer.  This was hard work, whew!!  (I only lasted a half hour and wanted to nap right away but I did say that I was good at this game!)
My buddy Ben and I playing trains during our weekend visit.

My adorable cousin Maggie holding my baby brother (I think she wants one ;)
More boy fun!
Silly boy!

Baby!!

I came to visit my new baby brother yesterday at the hospital. I asked Mama if he could play with me but she said it would be a while. I'm excited and can't wait until he comes home. Here are a few pictures of me admiring him. Check my sissy's blog for more pics and a little more about Nicholas.
