Happy Birthday Dada!

Almost 1 Year Old!!

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock.... the clock is ticking ever closer to my birthday and I'm working on a lot of cool things for the big day, well - Mom is doing most of it. One new skill that my parents are thrilled about is my ability to chew and swallow food without choking, gagging and scaring the you know what out of them. I won't have walking down by the big day, but I'll take on anyone in a crawling contest. I took my first wagon ride last week and it was awesome. I thought being pushed around in a stroller was cool, but being pulled is way more fun.

Milk

I am 11 months now and growing up! Today I got to have milk for the very first time (officially -I liked to sneak Lily's milk cup when momma wasn't looking). Mom put it in one of Lily's cups and I had a blast. I think the best part was thinking that I got away with stealing my sister's milk ;). All in all, I am a fan!

February Update

Whew....I'm sure tired of being sick! I had a hard week again last week and had to go back to see Dr. Hopper. I got more medicine and am sure happy to be able to breathe know. I don't want to see Mr. Fishy (the nebulizer) for a long time!! This is the second day with no medicine and I'm happy. My parents can't believe I will be 1 in just one short month!!

What's Up 2010!!

So we're feeling better and have been able to take advantage of this warmer than usual January weather. I'm finding that one of my sister's favorite places, the park, is quickly becoming a favorite destination of mine as well. I can really only use the swing, and the slide with close supervision, but it is still a ton o' fun. Ok, on to the pics.

The Winter Bug

Unfortunately, I too have been very sick for the past week. Other than my loud wheezing, cough, and draining nose you wouldn't even now it (luckily Lily didn't give me her fever too!). I crawl around happy as can be and continue to make everyone smile. I went to the doctor and had to get some medicine to take in the nebulizer to be able to breathe. My parents remember doing this with Lily when she was little too and it is no fun! I know it helps me breathe, so usually I cooperate very well! Lily sometimes sings to me too and it makes it better! Lately I love to push around anything that rolls or slides and am moving really fast (ok....that part isn't new ;). Everything still goes in my mouth and I'm not too excited about solid food yet. I have a hard time swallowing and sometimes gag, which results in scaring my mommy and daddy. Blended is fine with me for now! Christmas in Spokane

The day after Christmas we woke up, loaded the car, and headed to Spokane. Another Christmas? Wow, I am a lucky guy! We got to spend some quality time with the family, which was great. I hadn't been to Spokane since August, so it was nice to see everyone and this time my cousin Maggie was there with her mom and dad. We had fun together...she is my bud! We didn't get to see any snow, but I got to wear my new hat and winter coat...brrrr.

We spent a day downtown at Riverfront Park. Everytime we are in Spokane we look forward to spending time there. We love it! I didn't get to ride the carousel this time, but I had fun watching and trying out the Ergo on my momma's back.

My Great Grandpa hosted a beautiful dinner at his church for the whole family. It was so nice for everyone to get together! I enjoyed crawling across the huge gym floor and spending time with my Aunt Debbie.

Cousin Tayler....he is sooo cool!! Can you believe he is going to the Army soon?

Grandma had a package delivered to the door and I was there to help her unpack the goods.
