An Exciting Week!

We had company last week (Grandma Bonnie, Papa Jim, Aunt Becky, and Uncle Doug) so we were kept busy with a lot of fun family get togethers. They stayed up in Birch Bay so we went to the beach, had barbeques, went on fun outings, and most of all enjoyed the wonderful family that God blessed us with. Here are some pictures of the week...

Even though it was my sissy's birthday I got new Thomas underwear, which I was so proud of! I''m almost completely potty trained, Yay Sam!
Throughout this summer's swimming lessons the club has had the little pool closed so I haven't been able to swim, but for the 4th of July they had it open so Elijah and I took advantage of this opportunity and the sunny day and took a dip!
Later in the day (on the 4th) we went with our friends down to Clear Lake and enjoyed a little sunshine and swimming. There was hardly anyone there! Before we left I got tired of waiting for everyone to get ready so I took a reading break in my floaty.
In the Lake...this photo is a combination of the bright sunshine and me not enjoying actually being in this pirate ship.
Getting water for our sand castle that Mrs. G helped build!
Lily wanted to go for pizza on her real birthday so after we went out for birthday dinner we went down to the celebration at the park. They had the big Jump Zone toys there and I went down the big slide. This is only funny because earlier in the week I went to the Jump Zone and had to be rescued from a small slide by one of the workers because I wouldn't go down.
Lily and I laughing at each other and having fun while we wait in line
Wow, this dolphin is fast
Waiting for it to get dark
We bought just a few fireworks and we had fun watching them from the back of our car
The moon was really neat on the 4th
I didn't want a smore, only the marshmellow
See?
Reading with my sissy in her room... a little quiet break
I like summer and swimming in the backyard. I'm going through a homebody stage and just like to stay home
Enjoying Lily's new little toys. Isn't she nice sharing her little Polly Pockets with me? (Yes, I am sitting on the table trying to get a closer look into the little dollhouse)

Summer!

Our first week of "summer" game and went. We had a few nice days and I like to play in the water every chance I get. Grandma, Papa, Becky, and Doug are here this week for vacation and to celebrate a few birthdays with us. Yesterday we had Uncle Kevin's birthday and next weekend my sissy will be 4! My Papa Bob is home now too and he just had a birthday! I love birthdays. Yesterday I was singing, "We're having a party" all afternoon! Mama calls me the little comedian and I just love to make people laugh. Well, here are a few pictures of a fun summer week...

Playing in the water
We had a fun playdate with friends this week. Here I am with "Baby Therese."
Peter and I enjoying a little break and having a snack...fruit snacks, my favorite!
There was one day this week that actually felt hot in the afternoon so we went to the sprinkler park. I just love it there. You will find me amongst all the big kids playing in the water. I think mama forgot my suit??
I'm so excited about my little strawberry patch and love to tell people about them. Dancing at the summer concert in the park
Jumping and hoping in the bounce house...fun times!

Decided to tie dye my shirt with watermelon

Outdoor Fun

I woke up from my nap on Friday and found this in my backyard....fun!! It was still pretty cool outside and the water was even colder. I don't have a high tolerance for cold so it wasn't long until I was shaking and my lips were purple. That is ok, I still wanted to play and run around freezing.

Sliding down the unstable slide...brave boy!

Brrr!!
Trying out my new bike. I think this will get some taking use to. How are you doing with yours cousin Maggie?

Moving along

June

What is new in the life of a 2 year old? Well, we are just thankful for some time outside this week. I have also been using the potty!! I don't want to wear diapers (or underwear) just want to be nakie! I can make it to the little potty myself when we are home, but going out is a different story, that is ok though! I'm learning! I tell my sister all the time that I'm a big boy and I get really excited about going in the potty. Wish us luck!

Fishing for sharks in the pool. The boots are a necessity still, not quite warm enough for "babing suits"

Love my sissy!
And she loves me, a little too tight sometimes

Welcoming the sunshine early in the morning

Papa, I'll be doing this for you in no time!

My parents were trying to find a bike small enough for me, this is the last solution. I can touch but still not super excited about being on wheels yet.

Love my dump truck in the sand and I found a perfect "road"

Playing trains with my friend Ben. I'm learning how to share!

Last Weekend Sun

These pictures are from last Saturday when the weather was beautiful! It is Saturday today and I'm hoping for another sunny weekend. We got our water toys out in the back yard for the first time this year. After a little getting use to the cold water and getting wet, I soon learned that it was fun! In fact, yesterday I was in the pool with my shoes on asking for the slide to be put in it. I'm definitely ready for some more sunny days!

Fun in the sprinkler

Enjoying a yummy strawberry
Dada says that only women should be proud to be able to wear their swim suit two years in a row ;)

Hanging out with sissy in our matching jammies

May

Last Sunday was our last visit with Papa before he went back to work on the boat. We had a lot of fun playing together and I will miss him. When he comes home I heard it will be crabbing season and I have been talking about "eating big crabs!" We had several other fun events this week, which include the Jump Zone! Sissy helped me get up the big ladder and I went down the gigantic slide! She sure looked after me. We played outside when we were able in our sand and water tables but some bad news....our neighbors behind us got bees. Mama thought they may get a hive or two but they have at least 20 and there are bees everywhere! No stings yet to report though. I also had to go get shots this week, oh well, I got to have a treat afterward. This weekend we had fun with friends at the parade and went to the festival down in Fairhaven. The weather cooperated with all the events the past week, which is pretty much a miracle considering the rain this spring.

Papa thinks he is a kid sometimes too ;)

Playing with Papa I picked out a cakepop at Starbucks for my treat after getting shotsPretty good, I held it for a very long time before eating it though Icecream at the festival in Fairhaven for Ski to Sea

I sure can't keep up with the melting abilities of icecream

Sunny Days

Last week we had several sunny days and boy do I LOVE to be outside! I wake up between 6 and 6:30 every day and most of the time I am at the back door ready to go outside by 7 or so. I even put my boots on myself and tell my mom I'm ready! We now have a little sand table (I think my mom was trying to tell me something....get out of the dirt and her flowers??) We also got out the water table this week, which I enjoyed. The only bad thing now is that our neighbors decided to get bees...honeybees! I do not like them! Oh well, no stings yet. Here are a few pictures of our trip to see the kids parade on Friday. I enjoyed it!

Riding in the car with my baseball hat on

Playing with sissy...she sure is funny (Pretty much anything she says is funny to me)
I'm sure love her!

Dad, you are never going to get my attention with this parade going on!

What is next?
I had fun on the horse at grandma and papa's house today
