Trains and Trip

I think I wrote before how much I love trains but here are two of my recent experiences with them. The first is the little train we have at the local mall. I had tried last week to go ride it with my papa but it was closed or broken?? Well, last weekend I went on a ride with my dada (sissy didn't want to ride). I waved at everyone when we drove around but didn't want to stop for picture opportunities. The next was a trip down to the Children's Museum in Burlington. They had a lot of really great things there but one of my favorites was the train table, which was where I got the train that I carried around with me for the rest of our time there. I also liked the sand and was able to play with the train in there too!

I choose the blue car (but really wanted in the front engine)
Let's go conductor
Even my dada liked the train ride
My buddy Ben loved the balls at the museum, this was his favorite even though we did have fun playing at the train table together
To busy to look at the camera
The crane was ok, but I have to get back to those trains
This was great!

Just a Quick Update

Well, it is January in Washington, need we say more?? This morning we sang all the rain songs including Mr. Golden Sun. Guessing it worked because after church this morning it stopped raining and we were able to get outside. I have been battling another cold but I think it is on its way out, which makes us all happy. Recently I have been doing all kinds of boy things including climbing on everything and loving my trains, tractors, and dinosaurs.

I just love my pillow pet I got from the Gonnellas for Christmas! (P.S. His name is Scruffy and he has a certain place in my bed where he sleeps with me every day and night!)
Just me enjoying a snack
Yummy...Veggie Booty!
Ok, more pictures of me at the beach....my favorite place! Notice the train that rarely leaves my hand!
I could literally throw rocks for hours!
Serious concentration
Whooo Hooo!
No trip out the front door is complete without racing to the mud puddle to play and jump around in

Books and the Beach

My two absolute favorite things lately...books and the beach! I woke up today and said, "Beach" multiple times. It is great we live so close to explore such a cool place! I also must take after my sissy in my love for books. You will find me looking at books throughout the house at any given time!

Decided this was a good place to read this one...
And here...
And my favorite spot!
I love to collect sticks but with these gloves it can be a real challenge!
Throwing rocks is fun too!
Exploring these big logs. The tide has been soo high lately!
Fishing! Do you think I will catch a big one?

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a very blessed Christmas, as we did here in the Williams' house. It began on Christmas Eve with some good friends coming over for an early dinner with us before church. We played, enjoyed a good meal and great stories. Then we were off to church for Mass, which started at what is normally our pre-bed bathtime - this had the potential for a LONG service, but Lily and I hung in like champs.
The next morning we awoke and Santa had come!! I suspected I was on the good list. He brought me a new tool set, more on that later. After presents and a breakfast of Dad's World Famous French Toast, we were off to Grandma and Papa's (really wish Papa wasn't on the boat - hopefully next year he'll be able to join us). Guess what? Santa left stuff there for me too, now I know I was a good kid.
After naptime we had the most excellent meal, Grandma Katie is a great cook. She makes amazing sweets too - I see why my dad has packed on a few pounds this season.

Baby Therese - she's a cutie

I was very intrigued by this little one that doesn't walk or talk
Several attempts... can you tell I'm ready to do something new? And this was BEFORE Mass
Is this one better????
We got to open one present on Christmas Eve..... jammies...... again.
Then Dad read us "Twas the Night Before Christmas"
Ready to help Dad with his Honey-do list
Woo-Wooos (firetrucks)
Nerds!
mmmmm, mmmmm - French Toast and bacon
No job is too big or too small and my rates are reasonable
Woah sis, this new bed of yours is HUGE....
Bob stickers - I'll cherish them always.... or at least until I stick them to my shirt
as you can almost see here.
The face of a boy that loves his roaring Dinosaur
Yep, I'm going to play with this for hours

Spokane -An Early Christmas

We went to Spokane over the weekend to celebrate an early Christmas with my Grandma and Papa along with the rest of my family. It sure was great to see everyone. During our visit it snowed a little bit but I didn't get to play in it too much. I did however get to go to a place called Cat Tails and see some lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!). I loved it!! A big thank you to all my family for the great presents and wonderful visit!! Only 3 more days until Christmas!!

Grandma said she wrote a special note to Santa so he would come to her house early to see us....I guess my sister and I are on the extra nice list!!
I got a book about a little boy named Sammy! I do love to read!
The tiger....I think he thinks I am his lunch!
A little disappointed because the big lion was keeping warm in his shelter.
Just watching the tigers walk in circles! So neat!
Sissy and I on our way out....we may have to come back to this place. Luckily it is right by my grandparents house!
More reading!
Enjoying some quality time with my papa!I sure loved this bow!
Awww.....We sure love you Great Grandpa!!
Watching our new Cherub Wings and enjoying some popcorn! What a treat!

Homebound

My parents are being extra careful about where we go and are keeping me close to home these last few weeks in hopes that I don't get sick before Christmas and our trip to Spokane on Thursday. I don't mind too much but we did miss out on an Advent party. So, we have been keeping busy around the house. Good thing I have my sissy! We have become the best of friends lately and are usually found playing together in her room with the door closed. I have also been having some late night adventures with the latest medicine I have been on. It makes it soo hard to sleep and I usually get super hyper around bedtime. Oh, well, we are hoping that with my next cold breathing will be easier. I'll let you know...

My parents decided it was time to put a pillow and blanket in my bed....shesh, about time ;) (Oh, and I love them!!)
Playing with my barn, my second favorite thing (behind my sissy) to play with
